Learing intelligence from Keith Hairing.

Takuma watched the video of Keith Haring Documentary. Keith Haring is one of the most famous artist in 80's in New York. His art is simple. But his art has impact. Takuma learned intelligence from him.

It is difficult to combine impact and simpleness.

Takuma tries finding the new way which can make people to feel big impact and simpleness. Because he thinks that the artworks should be simple as possible. But it is difficult to combine them in one art work. It starts long way.

Takuma wakes up at 2 am. He prepares for the document to get scholarship to go to New York.  He eats breakfast in Royal Pines Hotel. Vitamin is important to him.

Hello, I am Kerolin. I am an assistant of Takuma. Takuma got the right to exhibit in the head office of Isetan. Isetan is the most famous and authoritative department store in Japan.　

It is called Japanese Harrods. The exhibit starts from 5th to 25th on Octber. If you ever come to Japan please let me know.

This is the painting about Naraku means 'hell' in Sanskrit. Bodhisattva is making a tour in Naraku.

I told Takuma my opinion. And he said to me.

"It seems that you are so tired lately. You see the painting as hell because you lives in somewhere like the hell."

Yes. I'm so busy these days.

The artwork is not only the mirror of artist's mind but also viewer's.

My eyes have seen the salvation. Even in the hell I can see the Bodhisattva. It is the light.

Takuma opened a course of the portrait. Drawing the portrait helps you to communicate with others for the first time. Most people have never experienced to be drawn by others. 

It is so impact. It can makes them happy easily. And drawing the portrait can make integrated feeling. Because person who draw has to observe accurately.

He advised the students that takes a time to accurately observing accurately in 2 minutes and draw 1 minutes.The point is observing is more important than act of draw. The ratio is 2 to 1.

Can you imagine that if you would not to observe accurately and draw? The answer is... you draw your own face. Why? Because it is true that the face which you spent most time on seeing is yours.

Yanogahaku is woman wheel chair artist. She is my classmate from Osaka university of Arts. She draws with the front wheel of the wheelchair.

She is seeking the way which only she can create. Her artworks are well-received not only in Japan also in USA,UK. Her artworks are elected as next young Japanese 100 artist, and displayed inTokyo Design Week 2015.

Today I visited at Tokyo Photograpy Art Museum to see Hiroshi Sugimoto 's Exhibition.　The title is "Lost Human Genetic Archive".

He expressed about the end of the human beings. There are 30 autograph comments about the end of the human beings by Japanese top intellectual.

One professor of Robotic said that the robot helps our life but, after they get intelligence, they rebels against the human beings. Finally they strike and human beings become extinc.

I felt that all things are in flux and nothing is permanent. I always think why i am living. I don't know why human beings live.

I think that he is looking for the meaning of life by creating the art. But he can't still find it. Things finally he found that life is meaningless. All things are in flux and nothing is permanent.

I decided that I will read again the Ecclesiastes.

Getting married Hollywood actress is not enough for Takuma.

We talked about the dream.

I said" I want to be a person who can travel anytime. I want free time."

He said "That's it?? My dream is bigger than you. Because I lost and sacrificed a lot of things on the altar of success.Even I can get married Hollywood actress, it is not enough for me. I want to get big money. I want to work with Elon musk. I want to evolutionize the art world."

Rich or Die. Difficulity of Artist Painter.

Hello, I am Kerolin. I am assistant of Takuma.

We talked about how popular artist changes their style. We read the art auction catalogue which is publisher in 2015. We found one young artist. She was born in 1986. She had exhibition in Tokyo, Singapore, even New York. She was reported by Japanese famous TV show.

We searched for her. And we were shocked. She stopped to create her works. We knew that now she is a musician.

Why?

According to Takuma, almost artist was influenced by the financial crisis in 2008. So she stopped.

We realized that surviving in art industry. Artist has to keep creating essential work. Takuma is creating balloon series. He express the feeling of people's heart. This is his way to survive in art industry.

Hello, I am Kerolin. I am assistant of Takuma.

Today He asked me.

"How dou you think about this artwork?"



I answered.

"This is a busy painting."

Each character in his painting is strong. In his case, I think that one character in one painting is better. Like this one.



Recently he is researching about Yoshitomo Nara and Izumi Kato. They are famous Japanese artist in the world.

Basically they drew one character on one painting. I think this style is also good for Takuma. Because his character is so strong.

How do you think about it?

Interview with Robert Palumbo.

Recently, I was able to have a very valuable interview with Robert Palumbo. He is the Executive Producer of National Geographic Channel. He is the first collector of Takuma's paintings in New York!

When did you first meet Takuma? 

"I met with Takuma first time on Facebook. We became friends. The first time I met with him in person was when he came to New York for first exhibit. I went to see his show at Chashama Gallery in Midtown, Manhattan. 

I went there with my good friend. We walked in and we saw these paintings. We've never seen anything like it before. We didn't know what they were about. 

Takuma was very nice. He explained to us what they were about. We came on the fist day of exhibit. No one had bought a painting yet, and I bought the first one. I was the first collector in New York! I was!

Because I loved the feeling that his painting gave me. So I was very happy to meet him and to see this very unique work, and then to be able to take one."

What is the special feature of Takuma's artworks?

"For me, my whole life is about a story. Everything I do is about telling a story. It could be a photograph or could be a movie or TV show that I make, but It's always about telling a story.  

I've never seen this kind of stories before. So I was fascinated by that and also to learn about where the story came from.Story came from tradition, kind of comedy, kind of symbolism, symbol of tree.He spoke very powerfully to me."

In Japan, there are many collectors who, loves not only his  artworks but also his character. How do you think about his character?

"I like his character very much. I can see his character in the paintings.  His character comes out in the paintings. To me it’s very important. Because when I met him and I saw the paintings, I understood that it was real."

Takuma is going to come to New York by getting Artist Visa. Do you think will New Yorkerl like his artworks?

"Yes. I do. He should make than bigger. Tokyo is big, but symbol of New York is bigger. Everything in New York is big. He is found away tell the story and now he needs to make it huge, big. And then, he could do well in New York. I am the first really big one?"

What do you hope for his future?

"Happy. I want him to be happy. I want him to be satisfied."
